Postage stamp marking centenary of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic issued in Switzerland

A postage stamp marking the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic has been issued in Switzerland.

The agreement on the release of stamps was reached between the embassy of Azerbaijan and Schweizerische Post (Swiss Post) postal service.

The postage stamps were issued for a non-commercial purpose and will be used by Azerbaijan`s embassy. They will be also distributed among the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to the United Nations Geneva Office, permanent representations to other international organizations, SOCAR office in Switzerland and other interested parties.
